涵养青少年心智---初一年级英语戏剧节纪实
基于英语新课程标准的原则,在教育与娱乐的创新融合中,北京钱学森中学(北校区)初一英语备课组本学期开展了项目式学习和读者剧场活动。2024年6月3日在报告厅举办了一场精彩的初一英语戏剧节。这项活动为学生们提供了展示语言能力、创造力和团队合作的舞台。学生们自行设计英文邀请函,朱春平校长,东和南学区王英琨主任,朱利娟副校长,黄华斌主任,张仑主任,董丽坤老师受邀作为嘉宾和评委出席了本次戏剧节。

经过两次全年级节目表演审查,三次带妆彩排,本次戏剧节共 6个节目登台亮相,全部由同学们在紧张的学习之余,或自编、自导、自演,或重现经典,或大胆创新,充分展现了初一学子深厚的人文积淀和综合素养。观看戏剧的同学们不仅能从表演中感受到剧情的跌宕起伏,更能从中深刻领悟故事背后的思想内涵。表演时,同学们用流利的口语、颇具创意的表演和道具,带大家进入到一个个精彩的情节中。他们超强的舞台感染力及表演张力,赢得了观众们的阵阵掌声。这就是创想舞台的魅力,这就是英语戏剧的魅力!

在颁奖环节校领导为各班颁发奖状,之后朱春平校长对本次活动进行了总结发言,对各位英语老师的辛苦付出和班主任的支持表示肯定,同时表示将为初一年级同学提供更大的舞台,也鼓励初一学生们认真学习英语,提高英语技能。

一、英语老师眼中的英语戏剧节

The latest English curriculum standards emphasize a holistic approach to language learning. They advocate for project-based learning (PBL) and reader's theater as effective methods to enhance student engagement and proficiency. These approaches encourage active participation, critical thinking, and a deeper connection with the language. The English Drama Festival of Junior One stands as a testament to these pedagogical innovations, showcasing their impact on student development.
From Classroom to Stage(从教室到舞台)
Throughout this term, students immerse themselves in PBL and reader's theater, improving their skills in a practical and interactive environment. These methods allow students to explore English through real-world projects and dramatic readings, fostering a more profound understanding and appreciation of the language. The drama festival was the grand finale, offering a platform for students to translate their classroom experiences into compelling performances.
The Performances(表演)
On that day, the school auditorium buzzed with excitement as school leaders, teachers, and fellow students gathered to watch the performances.
The plays, meticulously prepared and rehearsed, reflected a wide range of genres—from adaptations of literary classics to fairy tales and well-known movies clipped by the students themselves. Each performance was a testament to the students' hard work and dedication, highlighting their improved language skills and newfound confidence.
Educational Impact(教育影响)
The integration of PBL and reader's theater into the curriculum has had a noticeable impact on the students' language acquisition. By engaging in these activities, students enhanced their vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency. The hands-on nature of PBL allowed them to apply language skills in practical contexts, while reader's theater provided a dynamic platform for practicing expressive reading and public speaking.
Building Confidence and Creativity(建立自信和创造力)
The process of preparing for the drama festival was transformative. Students learned to collaborate, solve problems, and think creatively. They developed a sense of ownership over their projects, which translated into increased confidence on stage. The experience of performing before an audience also helped students overcome stage fright and build self-esteem, essential skills that extend beyond the classroom.
Fostering Community and Teamwork(培养团队合作)
The festival also underscored the importance of community and teamwork. Students and teachers worked together to bring each performance to life. This collaborative effort fostered a sense of unity and shared purpose. 二、学生眼中的英语戏剧节
(1)初一(6)班 徐夏琳
作为话剧中的演员,这次演出荣获二等奖,我十分高兴。但同时我也总结了这次话剧欠缺的地方。
从一开始的读熟台词,到最后能够流利的背诵演好妈妈这个角色,离不开一次又一次的排练,在这个过程中我收获进步了很多,使我今后有了相关经验。
最大的不足在于我最后演出时台词还是没有准确完整的说出,我认为这是不应该出现错误,今后应该多加注意。
在个人表演方面还是欠缺妈妈的人物形象,今后的活动中,我也应该仔细琢磨人物的性格特点并且多加练习。
在团队合作方面有诸多不足,比如传话筒、上下台、站位,都不是配合的很好,在今后团队排练时,我也会和大家多多练习。
这次的活动让我更加深刻的明白只要专心不懈的去做一件事情,最后一定能达到一个意想不到的结果。
在此特别感谢周老师对这次话剧演出的付出,以及为话剧尽力的各位。

(2) 初一(6)班 禹佳良
这次英语戏剧节,我在剧中扮演的角色是大灰狼,这个角色是老师对我的信任,也是对我的挑战。起初,我演的并不是很好,各种问题层出不穷。但我没有放弃,我不能让每位同学的努力化为泡影,最终落得不好的名次。我不断练习,直到演出那天。我的表演让大家开心又放松,对我而言就足够了。
我也要谢谢我的英语老师周老师,是她给了我这次机会,她在台下一次又一次的指导我,我的成功离不开她的帮助,谢谢你老师。
我觉得这个角色对我而言是难忘的。
(3)初一(3)班 徐若溪
Today we held the English Drama Festival in the auditorium. Each class performed very well. I also participated in it and felt the glamorous stage, with rehearsals and dedication behind it.
During the performance, laughter could always be heard from the hall, and every student's face was filled with smiles. After my performance, I felt a great sense of pride in my heart.This activity has increased our interest of learning English and made us aware of the fun and interesting aspects of Engish. I think this activity is of great significance and unforgettable to us. I hope the grade can orgnize more such activities.
(4)初一(1)班 崔珃
After watching this wonderful English textbook drama, my heart is filled with a mixture of feelings and thoughts.
Throughout the performance, the actors presented the story vividly before our eyes with fluent and vivid English. Their lines were clear and accurate, and the intonation was full of emotions, as if I was truly in that fantastic story world. Every character was brought to life so vividly. Whether it was the bravery and perseverance of the main characters or the humor and loveliness of the supporting roles, they all left a deep impression on me.
From this textbook drama, I not only felt the charm of the English language, but also witnessed the great potential and creativity of the students in performing. Through body language, expressions, and changes in voices, they conveyed rich emotions and information, giving me a brand new understanding and perception of the originally familiar textbook content.
At the same time, this textbook drama also made me realize that learning English is not just about mastering grammar and vocabulary, but more importantly, being able to use it to express and present. It inspired my greater enthusiasm for English learning and made me eager to work harder to improve my English level in the future and explore more possibilities of expressing in English.
In general, this English textbook drama is an unforgettable experience.
